I have been facilitating professional board meetings for more than 20 years. I’ve become proficient at identifying strategic objectives and developing a plan to accomplish those objectives, and as a result, I have had the good fortune to work with discerning clients that want to dig beneath the obvious and easy solutions to create something substantial and long lasting. I use a variety of facilitation tools, dependent on the objectives and the people in the room.
When working customer advisory boards (CAB’s) my primary focus is in the meeting and hospitality industry, specifically with hotels, convention bureaus, convention centers and meeting planning companies.
My work facilitating strategic planning sessions includes leadership teams from corporations and non-profit associations. The purpose of these sessions is to develop a strategy that guides the organization in the short and long term, providing a roadmap with specific actions that can be measured. We don’t develop a long, difficult to understand report that contains philosophical platitudes that will quickly be filed and forgotten.
